Canine Good Citizen (CGC) Class + Exam
One of the fastest growing measurement of a dog’s good behavior, is the AKC Canine Good Citizens (CGC) Exam. The exam tests 10 major areas that ensure that your dog is well balanced, and capable of being a safe productive member of our community. Many dog owners use the CGC as the first step for their dog to work as a therapy dog.
What’s even better than that? As of January 1, 2012, dog owners who complete the CGC as a Title process may have CGC appear as part of their dog’s titled name. If you’re planning to breed your dog, this may help improve the value of your future litters.
Our Canine Good Citizen exam includes a pretest prep class to help you succeed, and covers all of the areas that your dog will be tested. We’ll teach you what’s on the test, and make sure you and your dog are ready for the big day.
